These terms cover your use of Print Quote ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the calculator, you agree to them.
1. The service
Print Quote helps makers estimate what a 3D print costs to make, suggest a price, and keep records of sales and expenses. It is free while in beta. We may change, pause or stop features. If we add paid plans, we'll tell you first, and nothing you use for free will start charging you unless you choose a paid plan.
2. Your account
Use a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.
3. Your files and data
You own your models and everything you enter. You give us permission to process them only to run Print Quote: slicing your models, working out costs and keeping your records. Only upload files you have the right to use. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
4. Estimates, not guarantees
Costs, print times and suggested prices come from a slicer simulation and the prices you enter. Real prints vary with your printer, filament and settings, so check the numbers before you rely on them. The year-end report is for record keeping. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, so check with a tax professional for your situation.
5. Fair use
Don't try to break into, overload or copy the service, and don't upload malware or anything illegal. To keep the service working for everyone, we limit how many calculations can run in a short time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
6. No warranty
Print Quote is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
7. Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. During the free beta, that is $0.
8. Ending
You can stop using Print Quote at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close accounts that break these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and using Print Quote after a change means you accept the new terms.
